First graduates of DDA Direct Marketing Academy Austria

Main sponsor Österreichische Post AG held “Direct.Nite” graduation party at Landstraßer Parschlössl in Vienna

On Friday, 28 June 2002, the first 16 graduates of the DAA Direct Marketing Academy Austria received their truly earned diplomas at the hands of DAA directors Peter Neff and Klaus Schantz. For eight months, the students had deepened and broadened their knowledge, receiving instruction by excellent lecturers with business practice, and conducted a practical project to prove the progress they had made.
After the diploma ceremony, Österreichische Post AG invited everybody for the “Direct.nite” event to the Landstraßer Parschlössl. About 200 invitees, among them Österreichische Post AG’s CEO Anton Wais, Jürgen Menedetter (GIS), Michael Straberger (Direct & More), Anton Feistl (feibra), Joseph Hamberger (DMVÖ) and many others from the direct marketing industry celebrated until the early morning hours.
On-stage appearances by Song Contest starter Manuel Ortega, DJ Sonic, and the Capueras kept the party spirit going.
The DAA Direct Marketing Academy Austria took up operations in Vienna at the beginning of November 2001. The next course will start in the autumn of 2002. Österreichische Post AG is the main sponsor for this job-accompanying study program.
