This stamp features the Austrian Brenner Pass Railways.

150 Years Brenner Pass Railway

In 1867, the Brenner Pass Railway was opened to connect Innsbruck with Bolzano. The Brenner Pass located at 1,371 meters above sea level is the highest point on that route.

On the day of issue, the special post office will be cancelling mail items with the special first-day postmark.
