Maria Kirchental

The "Maria Kirchental" church is one of the most popular pilgrimage churches in the Salzburg region. Built in 1694 following a design by the well-known Baroque architect Johannes Bernhard Fischer von Erlach, it was consecrated in 1701.

On the day of issue, the special post office will be cancelling this special-issue stamp with the special first-day postmark.
