Special-issue stamp "Grinzing traditional dress".

New Stamp Issue, 11 October 2017

Grinzing Traditional Dress

When you hear "Grinzing", you probably think of wine taverns, wine and typical Viennese songs.

Who knew traditional Grinzing dress exists? We have decided to feature it on our new special-issue stamp. Since Grinzing is a traditional wine-growing area, this dirndl is also known as the winegrower dress.

On the day of issue, the special post office will be cancelling this special-issue stamp with the special first-day postmark.
