Our mission statement

Austrian Post’s leadership guidelines
- Accepting responsibility:
For executives, accepting responsibility and making decisions translates into entrepreneurial thinking and acting.
- Promoting collaboration:
As in any team sport, team spirit is key, expressed in a joint commitment to success, mutual support and the ability of putting the right people in charge of the right tasks.
- Providing guidance:
Especially in times of major change, clear guidance is essential.
- Building trust:
Change always creates a certain level of uncertainty. Employees trust that their executives will make the right decisions.
To us, diversity is something worth promoting. We also benefit from diversity, which refers to visible differences including gender, age or ethnical background, but also to subjective differences such as religion or lifestyle. Our employees hail from a total of 47 different countries. Among them, 800 are not Austrian citizens, while many more are second-generation immigrants.
According to the principle of equal treatment, differences between men and women should be accepted rather than ignored. However, there is an important additional point: nobody should be discriminated against or experience any sort of disadvantage. It goes without saying that we at Austrian Post live and work by this principle on a daily basis.
