Information about data processing pursuant to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 

Österreichische Post AG (hereinafter referred to as "Österreichische Post", "we", "us") processes your data for the following purposes:
Changing to a new provider and entering into contracts with energy providers.
After comparing energy providers, we will process your data in order for you to switch to a new energy provider and to enter into a contract. Without these data, it would be impossible to switch to a new provider. After the contract has been signed, data from the energy cost calculator will be shared with the desired energy provider so that you can change your contract.
The legal basis for this data processing is the contract with you and Article 6 (1) (b) of the GDPR and Article 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR.
 
Marketing
By providing your consent, you accept the processing of your personal data (title, first name, last name, date of birth, address, telephone number and e-mail address) by Österreichische Post AG and the sharing of your personal data with Austrian group companies, especially bank99 AG and E-Commerce GmbH (for the complete list, please see post.at/Beteiligungen) for the purpose of sending information/newsletters about products and services by Österreichische Post AG and the above-mentioned group companies, especially in the areas of postal services, financial services, telecommunication services, branch network services, energy services, etc., either electronically or over the phone. You can revoke this consent at any time by going online to datenschutzanfrage.post.at or by writing to the following address: Österreichische Post AG, Postkunden*innen Service, Bahnsteggasse 17 – 23, 1210 Vienna. The revocation of the consent shall not affect the lawfulness of any data processing performed before the revocation. Duration of data storage
If the online form is completed by our staff at the postal branch:
Anybody who would like to switch to a new energy provider at a postal branch provides their data to one of our staff members who will then complete the online form on the computer on behalf of the client. The client will sign on the signature pad or the printed form. After the form has been printed and the browser or application window has been closed, this data is no longer accessible/is automatically deleted.

You can switch to a new provider yourself online, either by using our online services as a guest user or as a registered client with Österreichische Post. In this case, your data will be stored for a period of 14 days after you last signed in.
 
Incomplete quotes:
if you cannot provide all required data, you have the option of adding these within the next 14 days. If you do not provide the additional data by this deadline, all data will be deleted.
Any data sets that do not come with an attached and signed contract will also be deleted 14 days after the notification about missing data. 
 
Complete data sets that are sent to the energy provider will be deleted after the purpose has been reached.
Complete data sets that are sent to the energy provider but rejected by them will be deleted after the purpose has been reached or 12 months + 14 days at the very latest.
 
Your rights
Upon request, we will give you information about your personal data processed by Österreichische Post at any time. In addition, you may have the right to data portability, limitation of processing, correcting or deleting your personal data as well as the right to object to data processing. In addition, you have the option of filing a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority.
