Entire Management Board Reappointed For Five-Year Period
In accordance with the Austrian law governing the filling of positions, (Stellenbesetzungsgesetz), job advertisements publicly calling for applications to fill the positions of all four members of the Management Board of Austrian Post (Österreichische Post AG) were published in August of this year. In a meeting held today, the Supervisory Board of Austrian Post decided to reappoint the entire Management Board of the company as it is currently constituted, extending the existing contracts of its four members.
The Management Board of Austrian Post consists of the following four members: Anton Wais Chief Executive Officer, Chairman of the Management Board Rudolf Jettmar Chief Financial Officer, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board Herbert Götz Member of the Management Board, Managing Director for Market and Customers Walter Hitziger Member of the Management Board, Managing Director for Mail Division and Logistics
The duration of the contracts for the individual members of the Management Board corresponds to the maximum period as stipulated by prevailing legal regulations.
