Communication Prize Awarded to Österreichische Post AG

PostInform considered to be the best staff magazine in Austria "Silver Pen 2000" awarded to Österreichische Post

The Austrian in-company communication association (Verein für interne Kommunikation - VIKOM), awarded, on December 4, 2000, the "Silver Pen 2000" to Österreichische Post AG's staff magazine PostInform. This prize is awarded once a year to the best in-company print medium.

According to the jury's opinion, PostInform explained reorganisation process of company in a way fully accepted by staff. VIKOM considers layout and content of the magazine to be particularly reader-friendly.

The jury stresses that "telling success stories of a changing company makes the reader strive for changes", and PostInform "certainly has given green light to in-company communication".

PostInform replaces former "Postrundschau", "PTA-Reporter", and "Postreporter", and is in its first year. Ten issues a year are sent to all Österreichische Post AG's staff members.

Susanna Wieseneder, head of Österreichische Post AG's Company Communications Department was very pleased to learn that "PostInform has been awarded the most important national prize for staff magazines as soon as in its first year".

Ernst Primosch, president of VIKOM handed the "Silver Pen 2000" to Österreichische Post AG's representatives at a ceremony held December 4, at Schönbrunn Castle in Vienna.
