Österreichische Post AG shop 3250 opens at Wieselburg City Center

New type of outlet offering 2,000 different products - 50 percent longer opening hours

Today, 29 April 2003, Österreichische Post AG opened a new type of outlet, the so-called “shop 3250”, at the City Center at Wiener Straße 3 in Wieselburg, Lower Austria.

“One stop shop” - more postal services, more P.S.K. services, and more additional offering in the new shops
The Österreichische Post AG shop is the logical extension of the successful Post.at concept, which was first presented two years ago and now boasts as many as 16 outlets all over Austria. “One stop shop” is the overall motto of this new concept: Apart from classic postal services, financial services provided by P.S.K, and telecommunications products, shop 3250 Wieselburg offers a comprehensive range of stationery and office supplies, books, and CDs on a total surface of 183 qm². All in all, about 2000 different items are available at shop 3250. Two surf-points wait for Internet fans, ATM, account statement printer and copier complete the comprehensive offering.

New customers through focus on retail sector
After last year’s restructuring of the branch office network, Österreichische Post AG now focuses on increased service and product offerings in its post offices. The high degree of customer satisfaction with the Post.at type of postal operation first introduced in 2001 was decisive for the further development of this type of outlet. A completely new design and an even more extensive range of products.
With customer-friendly opening times, attractive shopping environments and competent service provided by specialist sales staff for postal products, telecom products and P.S.K. financial services, Österreichische Post AG offers its existing customers as well as new customer groups a maximum of service quality.

Another 30 shops scheduled for this year
Österreichische Post AG’s shop 3250 in Wieselburg is open Mondays to Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. With 60.5 hours, weekly opening hours have thus increased by more than 50% as compared to the previous location at Hauptplatz 26. For 2003, Österreichische Post AG plans to open a total of 30 more shops all over Austria.
