Österreichische Post AG is taking stock: 15,000 water check kits in eight months

Pressemeldung from 07.04.2005

The easy way to testing water quality
Now with four new additional parameters at the same price

Together with Federal Minister Josef Pröll and Managing Director of Aqua Quality Austria Stephan Bruck, Österreichische Post AG managing director Herbert Götz took stock of 250 days of “water check” in Austria at a press conference held today in Vienna.
Since August 2004, 15,000 households in Austria have had the quality of their drinking water tested in the easiest way imaginable. The kit, which is available from all post offices, includes a test phial into which customers fill the drinking water from their taps and then send it off to ARC Seibersdorf for testing. There, the water samples are subjected to in-depth scientific analysis and quality assessments.

To make the water check kit even more attractive and interesting, four new test parameters (fluoride, molybdenum, lithium and phosphor) have been added to the already existing 20 parameters, and that without a change in price. As an enterprise with high customer confidence ratings and a nation-wide network of branch offices, Österreichische Post AG is an ideal partner in a cooperation geared towards raising health awareness in Austria.

Within four weeks, the test results are returned by Österreichische Post AG. The total price of € 45 includes all postal charges.
