Redirect letter mail

If you would like us to forward letter mail items, parcels and packets to a different address, just request our redirection service. We can forward letters and packets to addresses in Austria and abroad. Parcels and Post Express items can only be redirected to addresses in Austria.

How do I set up a redirection?

  1. Request a redirection online
    You have the option of requesting a redirection online. Just click on "Request redirection online" in the box on the right-hand side.

  2. Request a redirection at your postal branch
    Required documents: an official picture ID of the person authorised to sign.

  • Available for addresses in Austria and abroad
  • Takes only 3 days to set up
  • Duration can be chosen as needed (1 year maximum)
  • Uninterrupted mail delivery
  • Delivery to PO boxes is available

All indicated prices include statutory fees and duties, especially VAT. Tax-exempt services pursuant to Section 6 of the Austrian VAT Act do not include VAT.

Important information

Please note that redirections only cover items handled by Österreichische Post AT. Items delivered by other logistics providers are excluded. It takes 3 business days to set up a redirection. The billing period is always three months. You can choose a shorter period. You decide how long you would like to use our redirection service.
