Request authorization to receive mail online

You have the option of authorizing up to five persons you trust to receive mail on your behalf.  These persons will be able to receive postal items* addressed to you. However, items labelled as "Do not deliver to authorized agents" will still be delivered to the recipient only.

How do I set up an authorization to receive mail?

Set up authorization to receive mail at your local postal branch

  • Required documents:
    Official picture ID of the person authorized to sign

  • Your personal presence is not required
  • No need to pick up anything at your local postal branch
  • Up to 20 persons authorized to receive mail can be determined

The rates indicated above include all statutory taxes, especially VAT. Services exempt from VAT pursuant to § 6 of the Austrian Turnover Tax Act do not include VAT.
