A Generational Question – Cohabitation between Future Generations – "Two Faces"

The winner of the 2017 Stamp Competition organized by the daily "Die Presse" in collaboration with Austrian Post was the "Two faces" design.

The generational issue is something that concerns us all. Extended families living under one roof are largely a thing of the past, one-person households are on the increase and life expectancy is on the rise. How does this affect society? Participants in the stamp competitions were encouraged to create a stamp design addressing this important issue.

On the day of issue, the special post office will be cancelling this new coil stamp with the special first-day postmark.
