120th Anniverary of the Establishment of ÖAMTC

This year, ÖAMTC (Österreichischer Automobil-, Motorrad- und Touringclub) is celebrating the 120th anniversary of its establishment. The Österreichischer Touring-Club (ÖTC) was founded in 1896 and the Österreichischer Automobil-Club (ÖAC) in 1898. These two then joined to become ÖAMTC in 1946. To this day, they champion the cause of drivers of automobiles and two-wheelers and offer a wide range of services to their members. Austrian Post commemorates this special anniversary by issuing a special-issue stamp.

On the day of issue, the special post office will be cancelling mail items with the special first-day postmark.
