Pressemeldung from 28.10.2002
Longer office hours and larger product portfolio
On 2 December 2003, the revamped post office 3950 at Bahnhofsplatz1 will come to replace the three previous post offices in Gmünd - 3950, 3952, and 3953. The newly redecorated premises at Bahnhofsplatz will not only allow customer to post letters and parcels - they will provide a whole lot of new options: Apart from the traditional range of products, the new post office will offer a variety of items from the stationery and office supplies sector and will also make a coin-operated copying machine available to its patrons.
Customer benefits: Longer office hours and competent advice provided by specialists
By concentrating specifically trained staff in one location, it will be easier to address each individual customer’s needs. With a financial advisor, a specialist for Telekom and Mobilkom products, as well as a post office products sales specialist, customers will find experts for any request or question they may have.
Office hours, too, are oriented towards stepped-up customer expectations:
The 3950 Gmünd post office will remain open for 14 hours more a week than before:
Monday to Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Friday from 7.30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and no lunchtime closure.
Parking spaces directly in front of the post office and separate facilities for large-volume business, the closeness of the premises to the railway station and the main shopping street provide further benefits for customers.
The former 3950 Gmünd post office premises at Bahnhofstraße 10 will house a new distribution base for delivery staff in Gmünd and the surrounding area.
