2002

Österreichische Post AG

Pressemeldung from 11.12.2002

Salary negotiations for 2003 completed
2.0% increase, in any case not less than € 34

Today, Wednesday, 11 December, the salary negotiations for the employees of Österreichische Post AG have finally been completed.
After several weeks of bargaining, the two negotiation teams agreed on a 2.0% increase for 2003 (but in any case not less than € 34) for salaries based on the collective salary agreement, salaries based on special contracts, and for civil servant salaries.
Any supplementary remunerations and allowances will likewise be raised by 2.0% for the coming year.
At 2.0%, the increase is lower than the one achieved by the Civil Servants’ Union (2.1%, but not less than € 30), but on the same level as that of Telekom Austria. As average incomes at Österreichische Post AG are significantly lower than those in the public service, the basic amount for Österreichische Post AG is proportionately higher.
