Play Christkind to make sure no child is left without a gift this Christmas.

Just like in past years, Austrian Post is teaming up with Samariterbund to make sure every child in need in Austria receives a gift this Christmas. In Austria, more than 370,000 children live in poverty. Many of them can only dream of Christmas gifts. To change that, you can once again donate gifts to bring joy to children in need this Christmas. Your gift parcels will be shipped by Austrian Post to Samariterbund collection points for distribution in the entire country.

Three options for sending your gift

Get a new gift worth between 20 and 50 euros
Complete the information card to let us know for whom it is a good fit
Prepare your gift for posting:

You can participate anytime between 1 November 2025 and 23 December 2025.

To make sure your parcel arrives in time, we recommend posting it no later than 23 December 2025 at your Austrian Post service location.

Sometimes, even the Christkind needs some inspiration. On shöpping.at, you will find ready-to-send gift boxes for all age groups.
- Just select the desired age group
- Get a recommendation for a gift box
- Select and pay
The retailer will then package and ship the items (by 19 December 2025) directly to Team Christkind.

Self-service area

You can post your parcel without standing in line at one of our 400 self-service areas across the country.
- Just enter the sender address and download the shipping label
- Print and affix to the gift package as postage
- Use our self-service area and post parcel at the shipping station
