A great start for our new Crypto stamps at the Philately Shop at Rochus

The launch of the new Crypto stamps and the CRYPTO STAMP ISLAND collector’s album on 19 March at the Philately Shop at Rochus was a great success. From as early as 9 a.m., the shop filled with numerous fans, collectors and curious members of the community who wanted to get their hands on the new issues for the first time.

A special highlight was the signing session with the artists Thomas Aigelsreiter and Andreas Paar. Many visitors took the opportunity to have their Crypto stamps, posters and the new collector’s album signed and to speak personally with the two creatives as well as the Crypto stamp team. Conversations ranged from design ideas and favourite characters to insights into the creation of the CRYPTO STAMP ISLAND comic.

The new comic characters Ronny Ratel and Rex Leo were also very well received. The stamp sets, each containing one Crypto stamp (face value 11.35 euros) and three randomly selected additional cards (2 euros each), proved particularly popular – many visitors secured several sets for their collections.

There was also strong interest in the new CRYPTO STAMP ISLAND collector’s album, which, with its colourful comic design and 180 slip-in pockets, is not only practical but also a sought-after collector’s item in its own right.

Another highlight was the exclusive giveaway available only at the on-site first-day event. Many visitors were delighted with this special extra – and similar limited surprises will also be available at future Crypto stamp events.

The next Crypto stamp event is just around the corner: on 16 April 2026, join us at QWIEN – Centre for Queer Culture and History (Ramperstorffergasse 39, 1050 Vienna) to celebrate with us the first day of issue of the new Crypto stamp Vienna – City of Music. The evening event starts at 6 p.m., while the special post office will open at 1 p.m.
