Use the Austrian Post pick-up service to have parcels picked up from the comfort of your home

Österreichische Post will now collect your parcels after previous order. Ordering this service is easy, inexpensive, and convenient. Your return items and items franked with parcel stamps will be picked up on the following business day.

Use our pick-up service to have up to five franked parcels picked up from your home. If you are not personally present, we will also be happy to pick them up from a save spot of your choice.

Easy steps Benefits

Please provide the desired collection address. As a registered user, you can conveniently choose between your main and secondary residence saved in the system.
The estimated time frame for collection at your address will be displayed.
Your choice: you can either give us your parcels personally or you can leave them at a save spot of your choice at the collection address for us to pick them up.
At the checkout, you can choose from our many different payment options.
We will provide reliable pick-up service for your franked parcels on the following business day.

Reliable pick-up service from the delivery person you trust on the scheduled collection day.
At a flat fee of EUR 3.48, you can have up to five parcels picked up.
You can decide until the last minute how many parcels you would like the delivery person to collect.
Upon request, we also provide contactless collection: just choose a safe preferred spot at your collection address (e.g., garage, garden shed, etc.) when placing your order. We will notify you via e-mail as soon as your parcels have been picked up.

Important information

Pick-up service orders must be placed on the previous day by 11:59 p.m. for the following day (e.g., on Monday for Tuesday). Our pick-up service is available Monday through Friday and on business days only. Pick-up service orders can currently not be changed or cancelled.

What are the collection hours?

Our collection hours are Monday through Friday (business days only). When placing your order on post.at/abholservice you will see the time slot in which we will collect your mail. Please request the collection on the previous day before 11:59 p.m. for collection on the following day (e.g., request it on Monday for collection on Tuesday).

Do I have to pay for postage for my parcel beforehand?

Our pick-up service is only available for items for which postage has been paid, either with a parcel stamp purchased online or with a return label. Effective immediately, prepaid wine parcels with prepaid postage are also covered by our pick-up service.
