New Stamp Issue, 6 May 2018
650th anniversary of the Austrian National Library
Austrian Post is honouring the 650th anniversary of the establishment of the Austrian National Library by releasing a special-issue stamp that features the famous Baroque state hall. Emperor Charles V had it built in the 18th century by Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach and his son.
On the day of issue, the special post office will be cancelling this new special-issue stamp with the first-day special postmark.
When? 6 May 2018, 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (stamp presentation: 10:00 a.m.)
