EVN Bulgaria is a subsidiary of the Austrian company EVN AG and is one of the leading energy providers in south-eastern Bulgaria. The company operates in electricity distribution and supply, district heating production and supply, as well as energy trading and CO₂ certificate trading. EVN Bulgaria supplies around 1.6 million electricity customers and more than 31,000 district heating customers.

The EVN Bulgaria Group processes a large number of incoming invoices from various suppliers every day. The manual handling and distribution of these documents was time-consuming and prone to errors. In particular, the unstructured electronic receipt of invoices made efficient further processing more difficult.

The result of our collaboration

Since the introduction of DAiTA, the IIntelligent Document Processing platform, approximately 4,000 incoming invoices have been received digitally every month. Thanks to automated document processing, the processing time per invoice was reduced from 10 seconds to 3 seconds.
