How the digitisation of sensitive document works
- Collection
Our in-house courier service will pick up the documents from your home and ship them safely to our location. - Digitisation
After collection, we will prepare your documents for scanning and subsequently scan them using a special reflected light scanner. This is the safest scanning method currently available as it uses gentle LED lighting and employs almost no mechanical stress. - Optimisation of readability and image quality
Next, we will review the images for readability and quality. We will automatically improve images and make your documents searchable via OCR text recognition software. A final quality assurance process is an integral part of the scanning procedure. - Data delivery
We will send the reviewed images and index data to you, either via SFPT server or on a data carrier, whichever you choose. The original documents will be returned to you as received.
