Preferred pickup station and preferred postal branch

Whenever you order online, have your parcel sent straight to a pickup station or postal branch that meets your needs. Many online stores offer this service at no additional cost, along with an electronic notification sent to you as soon as the parcel has been received at the desired destination. When entering the recipient address, just choose among more than 500 pickup station in Austria or a postal branch of your choice among our branches, Post Partners, Parcel Poins and Hermes ParcelShops.

  1. If you are not going to be home, have your parcel sent straight to a preferred pickup station or postal branch that is conveniently located for you. When placing your order online, use the preferred postal branch or pickup station as a delivery address to that your parcel will be sent there. Tip: to find a preferred pickup station or postal branch, e.g., located near your workplace or on your way home, use our location finder.
  2. As soon as your parcel is ready for pickup, we will send you an electronic notification via e-mail or text message. If the parcel does not get picked up, we will automatically send you a reminder after 3 days.
  3. Pick up your parcel and bring the notification with you. At the preferred pickup station, you can scan the pickup code or enter it. At your preferred postal branch, just indicate the pickup code and show the text message or e-mail to our team member.
