The traditional Brunnwirt inn is located right on the shores of Lake Fuschl in the Salzburg part of the Salzkammergut region.
The inn has been family-owned for more than 600 years, and the Brandstätter family is currently in charge of the restaurant, which has been awarded three toques, and the adjoining residential studios, offering their guests family-style hospitality. The cuisine is based on seasonal and regional ingredients, and patrons can enjoy the mouth-watering food in the idyllic guest garden under a 300-year-old lime tree. From there patrons have a wonderful view over Lake Fuschl and the surrounding mountains. Fuschl is a good starting point for exploring the beautiful Salzkammergut region and the culture-rich city of Salzburg. The region is a great destination for hiking, biking, and swimming. In winter, there are plenty of sports opportunities, while enjoying the beautiful views is always a great option.
